I think I have a better idea

When I began this site, I had more ideas than time. (Know what I mean?) I am going to step back for a bit, reevaluate a few items and then relaunch this site in a new direction. It will still be more tech focused, but it will be produced moreso on a weekly basis so as to allow me more time to breathe. You’ll understand what I mean very soon.

Flickr will begin hosting video in April 2008

If you are a fan of Flickr, a very cool site used for sharing photos, then you might raise your eyebrows when you read this quote from Dan Farber, a blogger over at CNet.

After spending a few hours at the Flickr fourth anniversary party in San Francisco on Saturday night, the “coming soon” line was uttered by various Yahoo people, including Flickr co-founder Stewart Butterfield. Upon further investigation, it appears that “coming soon” means that Flickr Video will debut in beta next month.

SWEET! I wonder what this means for YouTube? Oh, let the speculation begin.

Are you impressed by the band? Were you one of their screaming fans? Probably not. As a matter of fact, the views on this video were so high that YouTube began to smell a rat and wondered if somebody was hacking the system. PricePinx helps you save money by monitoring the price of items you find online. If it becomes cheaper on that site (or found to be cheaper on another website), Price Pinx sends you notification by email. So simple, its genius. I will be trying this out soon, so be on the lookout for additional feedback.

Below is a screenshot of Price Pinx in action. The arrow is pointing to a Digital Tablet that was found online for $489.99 somwhere online. Well, PricePinx is showing us that it found the same item on Amazon for $50.04 less! Hey, every penny counts.

If you scroll down the front page of Price Pinx, you’ll see other examples like the one I pointed out.

Oooohh… I can imagine this site being VERY popular among bargain hunters and going into major overdrive around the Christmas Season.
