Yesterday, Facebook wrote on its developer blog that “over 30 million people have checked out the new profile, and many are using it as their profile full time. We’re nearing the time where we’ll switch over remaining users by default.

Ok, so I have tried the new Facebook and at first I didn’t like it. Click on tabs for more information about people? I want as we all have the same philosophy, “see it all on ONE page”. It doesn’t look like we are going to have a choice, with rumours that the the new design will become the only design. It does however cloud out the “super wall” from “mega wall” to Mega Monster Wall” all of which to say….. “THANK YOU!” A Wall is a wall, people!?! Make it easy for people to send comments. Too many options leads to “forget it, I’m not going to say anything at all.” I digress, I have jumped to the new Facebook after switching back and forth and candidily don’t think it’s the greatest, but it does trump the gaudy of glittery profiles on myspace and “look at my web-cam”. I’m glad thats over and those people haven’t found this great resource tool yet.  Finally a professional environment to show you and also want to hire you too. Isn’t it nice to see we all wear T-Shirts and Jeans away from and sometimes during an office meeting? I think seeing that helps people realize that a world of internet connecting, is really “not that hard” to do and we are reachable.

So Facebook haters —- go somewhere else, and stop putting weird videos on you tube explaining why you dislike the site so much. For goodness sakes.. take the pizza out of your mouth when you’re complaining too. “That was to the shakey camera, pizza eater, facebook haters!”

Facebook rocks! Thumbs up ——- Jake Press Reporting.

Jim and I will be discussing Facebook on our next show airing Sept 17th at 1:00pm.
