February 5, 2009
Have you ever wondered how to drink coffee and type on the computer? No? That’s OK.. neither have I, until now. Drinking coffee and typing is a science of sorts. Here are the following steps to ensure your success.
1. Make a pot of coffee. Make sure it’s enough for one cup.
2. Here you have varitey of choices, black, with cream, a couple of sugars. Have fun with this freedom!
3. Pour the coffee in a cup and stir it well. Don’t let it splash the edges.
4. Take the coffee to your desk… “This is tricky”… don’t stop and say hello to your cubicle neighbor… “everyone is watching you and wondering if you are going to spill it. Don’t let them get inside your head!”
5. Place the coffee on your desk and next to your computer. Be sure to let go ONLY when you are certain it is secure on the table.
6. Proceed to drink coffee. Be careful it’s hot.
7. OOOO you have an email. Put the coffee down and began to type.
8. CONGRATULATIONS!!!! YOU HAVE JUST ENJOYED COFFEE WHILE TYPING. Now continue repeating steps 1-7 throughout your day.

9. Make doubly sure the coffee is not inline with your phone. Failure to do so puts you at risk of back handing the coffee all over your desk, computer forcing a call to the IT Department which as long as they take puts you out of commission for a couple of hours. There for skip the coffee go to lunch and have a beer instead.
